Australian Tattoo was originally opened in Dandenong by Jed Hill and Colin Creed. Colin and Gail Kranz then took over the studio in the mid eighties. Artists such as Mick Hayes and Beans have worked at the studio over the years. Peter Jones is currently working here now. Peter started tattooing in 1986. He owned and operated Tasmanian Tattoo Company for almost 20 years before moving to Victoria. Peter specializes in large Japanese/Oriental designs and sleeve/leg and back work but is capable of many other styles and custom work.
